Groovy Greenhouse Studio is hosting two class opportunities to make stained glass cranes to donate to a community art installation honoring trans and gender nonconforming individuals. This one takes place on Thursday January 29th from 5:30-8:30pm at 2131 E Michigan St Indianapolis. Miriam Julianna of @GlassClassDC is creating an art installation of 1000 stained glass cranes in Washington DC with the goal of showing love and acceptance to trans & gender nonconforming individuals. They have asked the glass community for help hitting their goal of over 1000 cranes. The class fee is a donation with all proceeds going to IYG: Indiana Youth Group. There are 2 tiers for donation amounts: $25 or $50 with 3 spots available for each. These spots are limited so each tier and spots are first come first serve. Please note that you will not get to keep the crane you create during class. I will be shipping all of the cranes we make to Washington DC to be used in the art installation and they will not be sent back. Participants will get to learn all of the steps of the stained glass process while helping a good cause. All supplies and materials are being donated by Groovy Greenhouse Studio.

THERE ARE 3 RULES FOR REGISTERING FOR THIS CLASS:
Participants must be ages 16+. If you are under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for a spot in the class.
You can only attend one of these classes. Please do not sign up for both dates so more folks have an opportunity to make a crane.
You love trans people enough to actively build a world where they are safe, respected, and celebrated as their full selves.
YOU CANNOT USE GIFT CARDS OR DISCOUNT CODES FOR THIS CLASS AS IT IS A DONATION BASED FEE. There are no refunds for class registration if you end up not being able to attend. If you need to cancel please let me know asap so I can reopen the spot to another individual. Make sure you provide an accurate email while checking out so I can send you additional details a few days prior to class.
