Fused Address Plaque Class
This class takes place on July 20th from 10am-2pm at our studio located at 2131 E Michigan St in Indianapolis. In this class we’ll be making fused glass address plaques for your home! These are perfect for your front porch or front window. Participants will learn the skills of cutting and grinding glass and the basics of fusing. The plaques will have an overall size of 5” x 12” and can be oriented either horizontally or vertically. Participants will get to choose the glass for the base of their plaques and for their numbers. All numbers will be in the style of font shown in the example photos. Then each person will decorate their plaques however they like using dots, glass paints, stringer, and frit. The fully assembled plaques will then get fired to a tack fuse in the kiln and participants will return at a later date to pick up their work (typically 1-2 weeks after class date). Each person can choose where they would like holes drilled into their plaque for hanging/installation. Hardware for installation will also be provided.
Participants must be 18 or older to register for this class. There will be no refunds for cancellation but a 50% credit will be given towards a future class if 48+ hours notice is given. If an emergency arises preventing you from taking the class, please notify me via email as soon as possible.
