This class takes place on July 18th from 10am-2pm at our studio located at 2131 E Michigan St in Indianapolis. This is a beginner friendly class where participants will get to create a garden stake using the leaded glass method (see photos for examples). Students will be given a template that is 12”x4.5” that they get to break up into 6 rectangle pieces of glass in the size of their choosing. This class is perfect if you’ve been wanting to learn leaded glass as the skills learned can be used to create leaded windows. Participants will learn the following steps: cutting and grinding glass, building with lead, and soldering. Participants will choose their own glass colors for their design during the class. We will not be covering the cementing process as it isn’t need for a leaded project of this size but I’m happy to briefly cover this with anyone who is interested. *Make sure you register with a valid email. You will receive an email a few days prior to class with additional class details.
Participants must be 18 or older to register for this class. Each paid spot is valid for only one attendee. There will be no refunds for cancellation but a 50% credit will be given towards a future class if 48+ hours notice is given. If an emergency arises preventing you from taking the class, please notify me via email as soon as possible. If inclement weather prevents the class from occurring on its scheduled date, attendees will be given a credit for the full amount to use towards a future class.
